Successful CanSat I Launch

The third CubeSat prototype has been launched via weatherballoon by the C.A.P.E. team on Saturday, January 29. This prototype employed more advanced hardware than CricketSat 2, including a GPS module used to track the exact location of the balloon during its flight. The team was able to keep contact with the satellite for the three hour duration of the flight and attempted to recover the prototype once it had landed. To find out more information about this event, please click here or check out the "News" section of this website to view this and many other press releases.

This site's intent is to inform the public of CAPE1, in development at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
