CanSat1 Search Pictures
The C.A.P.E. team spent most of Saturday, January 29, looking for CanSat1 after having launched it on a weather balloon earlier in the morning. As it turns out, the balloon landed in an impassable section of woods and creeks near the Mississippi River.
CanSat1 Launch Pictures
C.A.P.E. launched CanSat1 on January 29, 2005. These are the pictures from the launch at the Lake Charles National Weather Center location.

CanSat1 Preflight Test #1 Pictures
This album is of the first preflight test day for CanSat1. We used dry ice to cool the satellite for temperature testing.
CanSat1 Preflight Test #2 Pictures
This album is of the second set of preflight testing of CanSat1. Again, we used dry ice to cool the satellite to upper atmosphere temperatures. This time we increased the amount of dry ice and added fans for air circulation to obtain cooler temperatures and a more even temperature gradient.
PlexiSat Pictures
Plexisat is a working display model of CanSat1 encased in plexiglass. It was built to demonstrate the capabilities of CanSat1.
